We at Polylabel.com are all to familiar with the importance of managing and tracking your assets. As a manufacturer and supplier of asset labels, we understand that setting up an asset management system isn't as easy as sticking a label on to an asset. There's far more to consider. Through out the years many of our clients have asked us for our advice with regards to porperly setting up an asset management system. More specifically we are asked for our recommendations for the best asset management software packages available. Therein lies the problem. We have had the opportunity to test several well-known packages and found several problems common to most of these software packages.

  • Over priced. Some high-end packages range as high as $2,000 to $10,000!
  • Limited functionality. Not flixible enough to cover most situations.
  • Limited customization. Stuck using predefined fields.
  • Limited security. Asset data is not secure.
  • Too complicated to manage. Too much time is spent managing the system rather then managing your assets.
  • Not user friendly. Navigating the software is cumbersome and confusing.


Rather then recommending a software package that only moderately pleased us, we decided to create our own asset management software that would meet the varying needs of our customers. Better yet, we created two software packages ... and one is absolutely FREE!
