The ROV Tethered scanner is laser, non-ccd, barcode scanner with data capturing and batching capabilities of up to 4000 bar code scans all saved to the built-in scanner memory.
The ROV PnP Cable features two modes, changeable by a selector switch. Keyboard Mode enables you to Plug 'n' Play by scanning bar codes into any application without the need for additional software. Works with Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. VCOM Mode enables advanced bar code features within software applications running on Microsoft Windows e.g. AssetTrakker Pro for Windows.
Please Note: The USB PnP Cable is not compatible with Windows Vista.
This unit only requires 3 AAA batteries and the installation of the interface software included with the purchase of the scanner.
