Our PTC regulated Asset Branding tool operates at the right temperature to brand a permanent property marking on the plastic casings of IT equipment (or other products with similar plastic casings) through the use of a custom 5/8" x 1 1/8" die. The die can contain the company's name or initial, a message such as "Property of" or "Stolen", AND a telephone number or other information to aid in the return of any stolen or lost equipment.

A special colored thermal transfer foil ribbon is used under the permanent marking brand to help produce a clear image and leave an eye catching permanent security marking that is an effective computer theft prevention program.

The permanent security marking of computers and similar products dramatically reduces the value to a thief! The need to grind off the permanent markings will make it difficult to resell stolen items.
